long time...
I haven’t properly been on here is SO long. I’ve honestly just been ridiculously busy working on uni stuff (application, transcripts, portfolio, etc.) But hard work pays off because today I was accepted to my first school of the 5 I applied to… University of Portsmouth :) It’s a shock and maybe a little bittersweet, but I’m so proud of myself and excited.

After contemplating converting to Islam for the past 10 months and embracing it for the past couple of months, I finally just took my Shahada. It wasn’t a huge emotional cryfest, but I really felt it, and I’ve never felt more complete and full of love and positivity in my entire life. Alhamdulillah.

in a nutshell...
Since studying Islam in depth in my last religious studies course, on top of being absolutely fascinated by and in awe of it, I’ve found myself believing more and more in Islam as a whole. I’ve gained such a respect and belief in this religion that I’m now very seriously considering converting; funny it should hit me so hard on Eid al-Adha.
