Mont Saint-Michel is even more beautiful in person.
”In accordance with tradition I declare the Games of the 30th Olympiad closed. I call on the youth of the world to assemble four years from now in Rio de Janeiro to celebrate the Games of the 31st Olympiad. Thank you London.”

Chloé Fall/Winter 2012
Paris Fashion Week
March 5Clare Waight Keller became the new creative director of Chloé in June last year, and for Fall/Winter 2012, Keller produced a collection that was more warm and spring-like, then dark and cold. She explained backstage how her recent travels to London have helped inspire her for Fall 2012 and allowed Keller to identify the Chloé clientèle. ”I’ve just come from London where there’s a different spirit… I love Paris, but the Chloe girl is somewhere in between.” Keller said.
The palette was soft with pastel, pink and pearl hues and the material was light and airy. The garments in general were cute, youthful, and very feminine. Keller included many chunky knitwear pieces that often had wool pathwork - paired with skirts, structured jackets and coats, feminine lace garments, and plenty of perfectly paired outfits of pant and shirts. She also included British military inspired parkas with padding (most likely inspired from her recent visit in London).
This wasn’t a ground-breaking collection and I do miss the old creative director. I also have my doubts in whether this collection would be more suitable for Spring/Summer as opposed to Fall/Winter, however the styles do have a traditional Chloé look, so Keller delivered there. Also this collection offers wearable styles which is always of importance.
